Standard & Poor’s Announces Changes to S&P 400, 500
and 600 Cablevision
Systems (CVC) will replace King Pharmaceuticals Inc. (KG) in the S&P
500. S&P 100 & 500 constituent Pfizer Inc. (PFE) is acquiring King
Pharmaceuticals in a deal expected to be completed soon, pending final
approvals.
S&P MidCap 400 constituents F5 Networks Inc. (FFIV), Netflix Inc. (NFLX)
and Newfield Exploration Co. (NFX) will replace The New York Times Co.
(NYT), Office Depot Inc. (ODP) and Eastman Kodak Co. (EK) in the S&P
500, and, likewise, The New York Times, Office Depot and Eastman Kodak
will replace F5 Networks, Netflix and Newfield Exploration in the S&P
MidCap 400 index.
S&P SmallCap 600 constituents SM Energy Co. (SM), Concur
Technologies Inc. (CNQR) and East West Bancorp Inc. (EWBC) will replace
Corinthian Colleges Inc. (COCO), Wilmington Trust Corp. (WL) and
Coldwater Creek Inc. (CWTR) in the S&P MidCap 400, and likewise,
Corinthian Colleges, Wilmington Trust and Coldwater Creek will replace
SM Energy, Concur Technologies and East West Bancorp in the S&P SmallCap
600 index. Standard & Poor's will monitor these transactions, and post
